The job

What we did and why

This steel building in Roswell is one open span, with roll-up doors and walk-in doors and no posts in the middle of the floor. We sprayed foam across the underside of the roof panels, between the purlins, and down the wall panels between the girts.

Roswell summers put a lot of heat into a steel roof, and winter nights get cold. Foam on the inside of the steel insulates the panels and seals the seams and fastener holes, which helps the building hold a steadier temperature and cuts down on condensation on the underside of the roof.

What we installed

  • Spray foam across the underside of the roof panels
  • Spray foam on the wall panels, between the girts
  • Sprayed up to and around the roll-up doors and walk-in doors
