Oilfield Insulation for the Permian Basin

Spray foam for field offices, equipment barns, maintenance shops, and modular buildings across the Permian Basin.

Spray foam for Permian Basin field facilities

Southwest Foam Solutions installs spray foam insulation projects in field-support buildings across the Permian Basin. We work around your access rules, operating schedule, and site requirements, and we’re used to remote locations.

Typical projects include portable offices and support buildings, equipment storage buildings, maintenance shops, industrial warehouses, and modular facilities. If it’s a structure on a lease or in a yard, we’ve likely done one like it.

Core coverage is Lea and Eddy counties: Hobbs, Carlsbad, Artesia, Lovington, Eunice, and Jal. We also take on Texas projects around Midland, Odessa, Andrews, and Seminole; send the site location and we’ll confirm scheduling.

What we insulate

Portable offices & support buildings

Skid offices, crew quarters, and support buildings that need to hold a temperature through Permian summers and winters.

Equipment storage buildings

Metal buildings that sweat in the winter. Foam on the panels stops the condensation that drips on equipment and rusts the steel.

Maintenance shops & warehouses

Roof decks and walls in shops and warehouses, sprayed around your equipment and clearances so the bay stays in service.

Modular facilities

Modular and pre-fab structures, including units that move between sites, insulated to match how and where they are used.

What to have ready for a site visit or plan review

  • The site location and the type and size of the structure
  • What is on the walls and roof now (bare metal, old insulation, coatings, any rust or leaks)
  • Whether the building stays in use while we work
  • Site access rules, safety orientations, and any operator specifications we need to follow
  • A few photos of the inside and outside if you have them

How we work on site

  • Your site rules come first. We follow the operator’s safety, access, and paperwork requirements.
  • Scheduled around operations. We isolate the work area and plan the job so the facility keeps running.
  • Remote sites are normal for us. Travel and mobilization are built into the estimate, not added later.
  • What the estimate covers. Product, thickness, prep, and closeout are spelled out in the estimate before we start.

Oilfield Insulation FAQs

Field offices, portable and modular buildings, equipment enclosures, control buildings, storage, and maintenance shops. If it’s a structure on a lease or a yard, we’ve likely done one like it.
We work around your access rules, site readiness, and operating schedule. Once we’ve reviewed the project and the operator’s requirements, we’ll commit to a mobilization window.
We match the product to the temperatures, chemical exposure, moisture, vibration, and fire-protection requirements the building will see, and confirm it against the spec before we spray.
It’s a big part of it, but insulation alone doesn’t guarantee nothing freezes. Heat tracing, equipment design, and monitoring still matter. We’ll coordinate with your team on the whole plan.
Every operator has their own requirements for training, documentation, permits, and hazard controls. Tell us what your site needs and we’ll get it lined up before the job is scheduled.
Yes, in the yard or on the lease once it’s set; send the location and we confirm the trip. Tell us whether the unit will move again and what it’ll house, since we match the foam to how and where it gets used. If it’s still empty, call before shelves, cabinets or interior paneling go in: bare, clean panels make the simplest job.
It stays where it is, and we cover it. Equipment, floors and anything fixed in place get masked, and we plan the sections around your clearances, spraying section by section with fresh air moving through. Your people keep clear of each section until it airs out. Show us what can’t move and what they still need to reach.
