The job
This shop in Lake Arthur, south of Roswell, has a wood-framed mezzanine along one end with a steel stair up to it, and roll-up doors in the side wall. We sprayed foam over the inside of the roof panels and down the walls to the slab, working around the mezzanine and the stair and leaving the steel frames and cross-bracing bare.
In the Pecos Valley a metal shop takes a lot of sun on the roof in summer and gets cold in winter. Foam on the inside of the steel insulates the panels and seals the seams and fastener holes, which helps the shop heat and cool more evenly and cuts down on the steel sweating on cold mornings.
