The job

What we did and why

This steel building in Dexter has windows on every side and walk-in doors in two of its walls. We sprayed foam down the wall panels to the slab and across the underside of the roof between the purlins, cutting in around each window and door frame and leaving the girts and frames visible.

Dexter sits in the Pecos Valley farm country between Roswell and Hagerman, where summers are long and hot and the wind rarely lets up. With the panels foamed and the seams sealed, the building holds its temperature better and stays quieter in the wind.

What we installed

  • Spray foam on the wall panels, down to the slab
  • Spray foam across the underside of the roof, between the purlins
  • Cut in around every window and walk-in door
