The job

What we did and why

This metal building in Hagerman already had its long shop lights hung when we got there. We coated the inside of the wall panels and the underside of the roof with foam, working around the light fixtures, the walk-in door and a covered opening in one wall.

Hagerman is Pecos Valley farm country, and the sun on a metal roof there is fierce from spring through fall. Foam on the steel slows the heat coming through the roof in summer and cuts down the winter wind that finds its way through the panel laps.

What we installed

  • Spray foam on the wall panels
  • Spray foam across the underside of the roof
  • Sprayed around the light fixtures, the walk-in door and a covered wall opening
