The job

What we did and why

We sprayed every wall panel and the underside of the roof in this Carrizozo steel building. Before spraying, we covered the floor with plastic, wrapped the walk-in door and taped off the windows.

Carrizozo is high desert at about 5,400 feet, with hot afternoons and cold, windy nights. A continuous foam shell like this one insulates the steel and seals every seam, which makes a building this size easier to keep at a working temperature.

What we installed

  • Spray foam on every wall panel
  • Spray foam across the whole underside of the roof
  • Continuous coverage from the floor line to the peak

Protected before spraying

  • Floor covered with plastic sheeting
  • Walk-in door wrapped
  • Windows taped off
